Join the Empowered Arab Sisterhood and make history with us! The Beta chapter of EAS at UC Davis is gearing up for its first fall rush and we can't wait to meet you! As the first Arab focused sorority at UC Davis we are excited to develop this chapter and reach out to our fellow Arab sisters. Joining EAS has been the best decision of my college career. To be surrounded by girls with similar backgrounds and values is extremely comforting and my sisters have been an amazing support system! EAS makes it so that we can all come together as one. Our rush week events will being on September 30th and we will hold mandatory info nights September 26th and 27th!
Our rush week will begin with Cupcakes and Chai. This event will be casual and will begin at 7:00 pm. Come get to know the founding sisters in an intimate environment! On Wednesday, October 2nd we will have a sisterly strengthening event. We will be taking a self defense class. Come in your gym clothes and learn some empowering moves with us! On Thursday, October 3rd we will be having our shisha mixer with Theta Xi! Join us as we embark on our journey to create a presence in the UC Davis Greek life! On Friday, October 4th we will be having a Girls Night In! This event will be casual. We will be watching the Girls Rising documentary and making ice cream sundaes!
Once our Rush week is complete we will hold casual interviews so can get to know each one of you a little bit more! We will then be holding our bid night which will be by invitation only. We are so excited to meet our new sisters!
